Living HOPE is the Orphan Ministry of the Bible Church of Little Rock.

Peter writes in his 1st epistle, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead….” (1 Peter 1:3). So we train ourselves for godliness because we have our HOPE set on the living God, who is unseen. Because what we hope for is unseen, we wait for it with patience. Our HOPE is not a dead hope, but a living hope, because we believe that we will see our Father. This is the foundation of BCLR's Living HOPE.

Living HOPE is an Elder Overseen, Lay-lead ministry. It’s YOUR ministry. It’s OUR ministry. Living Hope is an Orphan ministry that, when it’s fully developed, will be so all-encompassing that everyone in the church will have an opportunity to do something for the orphan.

The “HOPE” in Living HOPE is an acrostic for the 2 components of this ministry:

Helping Orphans
Providing Encouragement
